Church Council


Immanuel UCC is governed by a 12 member Church Council who are elected by and act as representatives of the congregation.  The Council is responsible for administering the business of the church; hiring and managing staff, creating and monitoring an annual budget, maintaining the property and grounds, and overseeing the activities of the committees of the church.  4 members are elected each year to a 3 year term - ensuring a regular infusion of new ideas while maintaining an institutional memory.
