North County Interfaith Dialogue Group

The North County Interfaith Dialogue Group has been meeting at Immanuel on the Third Sunday of each month since 2008. We meet in the Educational Building, 221 Church Street, Room 202 from 3 to 5 p.m.

Since beginning, we have learned about various faith groups including, Judaism, Muslim, Baha’I, Hindu, Sikh, Scientology and various Christian denominations: Christian Science, Quaker, Native American, Mormon, Community of Christ, and Coptic.

We have a loyal group of people who attend regularly and our group is quite informal. Because we have not had a consistent interfaith mix in our group, we have invited guests who speak about their religious beliefs and are willing to answer questions and discuss customs and traditions.

This is a dialogue not a debate. Therefore, we respect the opinions and faith traditions of everyone in the group. Those who attend are there to learn, not to convert or proselytize.

If you would like to receive notices of the North County Dialogue Group meetings, please contact: Moderator Nancy Remmert, (314) 522-3718 or by email:
